South Wales Tour 2023

Back in October we where blessed with the late Indian summer giving us fantastic weather for our 2 day trip around South Wales.

We started on the Saturday morning leaving from Dorset and heading straight up to into South Wales, with a pit stop along the way. A pre planned and tested route by ourselves months before ensured some of the best driving roads to every location/stopping point.

We arrived at the famous Zipworld Tower to experience a 70mph Zip wire over the lake. 14 brave members took on the task and loved every second of it! Other members took the opportunity to grab some lunch and refreshments. Once everyone flew down the mountain we all had a bite to eat , celebratory beer and discussed the plans for the rest of the trip.

In the afternoon we drove up the famous Top Gear road and stopped in the car park for some photos, Also to take in the incredible 360 views of the Brecon Beacons.

As the sun set we drove to our accommodation and where dinner was booked, greeted with outstanding service and a warm welcome. Each guest checked in swiftly and found their room for the night.

Dinner was served at 7:30pm, a 3 course meal consisting of some absolutely incredible food. Our service was also second to none and everyone had a fantastic end to an action filled day. Some members stayed in the bar and enjoyed some lovely cocktails and each others company.

Sunday morning we set off to what I promised was the best take away/cafe style breakfast around. Heading along an amazing A-Road the whole way there, we then arrived at Baffle Haus. A vintage themed motorbike venue offering fantastic food and matching decor.

It was fair to say the breakfast lived up to expectations and everyone agreed! It was that good that our Zita went up for seconds.

The last part of our trip was back down the M4 and calling into a member favourite venue that we have visited before! Podium Place another great location with racing simulators, lovely cars for sale, and other car enthusiasts.

After a couple hours here it was time to say our goodbyes and head home after an incredible weekend packed full of adrenaline, luxury and friendship.

See you again in 2024 Wales!
