Drivers Indemnity Policy
IMPORTANT NOTICE – PLEASE READ.

DRIVING / MOTOR SPORT EVENT: AS A PARTICIPANT IN THE DRIVING / MOTOR SPORT EVENT, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NOTICE AND ONCE YOU CLICK 'REGISTER' ON OUR TOUR REGISTRATION FORMS, YOU WILL CONFIRM YOUR AGREEMENT AND UNDERSTANDING OF THIS NOTICE AND YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF ANY INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED THEREIN.

1. You are advised, that motor sport and, if part of the Event, driving on dedicated driving routes can be dangerous, that you are familiar with the nature of the Event and acknowledge those risks, which are inherent therein, and, subject to the following, that you drive or take part in the Event at your own risk.

2. You confirm, that you are over 20 years of age and that you hold a full driving licence of a member state of the European Union, which you will present on request.

3. You confirm, that you:
• Are in good health, that your eyesight is at least of the standard required by law for road driving and you do not suffer from any illness or disability that might make it unsafe for you to drive
• Will not consume any alcohol before or during the Event
• Are not and have not taken any other substance, medically prescribed or otherwise, which may impair your skill and judgement to drive motor vehicle(s) and participate in this Event

4. You agree to abide by the provisions of the Highway Code at all times whilst driving and to follow the indicated routes, if any, and to avoid unnecessary stops and deviations from these routes.

5. You must ensure, that at all times you take proper care and drive within the car and, in particular, your limitations.

6. You must ensure, that at all times you will not overtake the lead tour cars.

7. You will not at any time disengage any active safety features of your vehicle including but not limited to DSC.

8. You are to have sole responsibility for the consequences of your own conduct and personal safety and for any decision on your part as to your fitness to drive and whether to drive or discontinue to drive the motor vehicle at any time whilst it is in your possession or under your control throughout the Event.

9. You are solely responsible for any motoring or traffic offences and resultant penalties or fines that you commit or incur whilst using your vehicle.

10. Except in respect of liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Status Supercar Society or its employees or agents, Status Supercar Society or its employees or agents will not be liable for any other loss or damage (including consequential loss) howsoever caused.

11. You understand, that Status Supercar Society reserves the right to remove you from the Event, if it considers your actions to be dangerous or detrimental to other participants of the Event.

12. You are voluntarily and at your own risk signing this indemnity form in consideration of being permitted to participate in this Event.

Special Conditions apply to this event: You are using your own vehicle during this Event, however to ensure we comply with our own Public Liability Insurance Policy, the age of drivers during this Event are restricted to those delegates over 20 years of age. These restrictions apply due the insurance categories and the engine sizes of the vehicles being driven. By signing this form you confirm that you are over 20 years of age and that you hold a full driving licence. If you are under the age of 20, please make yourself known to one of the event registration team.

I, hereby fully waive the and release Status Supercar Society (the “company”) and its agents, officers, employees and directors from any and all claims for personal injury, property damage, or death that may result from your participation in an Status Supercar Society Driving Event. By accepting, agreeing or signing this form, I fully assume the dangers and risks and agree to use my best judgement while engaging in the Event.

I further agree to indemnify and to save and hold harmless the Releases and each of them and their employees, agents, officers and directors from and against any and all liability, including without limitation, legal fees and any increase in insurance premiums, incurred as a result of or in any manner related to participation in the Event.
